DeWalt DCF826KL 1/4″ 18V Cordless Impact Driver Kit
This impact driver from DeWalt is frickin’ awesome. It’s probably top of the food chain when it comes to impact drivers. It’s got the DeWalt brand and warranty, over 100 ft-lbs of torque, and just feels right in your hand.
Finally put all the screws back in that one thing that you took apart forever ago!
Start that deck project – this will make easy, quick work of the deck screws, I promise.
Pretend you work for NASCAR when you rotate your tires in the driveway!
Amazon gets DeWalt tools at crazy low prices. This 18V impact driver kit from DeWalt is cut way down – around 50% off! As of this writing they only had around 15 left (Feb. 2014.) You get:

$456.00 (I call bs on this “list” price. Seems high.)

DeWalt 1/4″ 18V Cordless Impact Driver Kit Description:
This impact driver from DeWalt claims best-in-class power and performance. I would have to tend to agree. I do have to let you know though that I personally do not own this drill. We do however have this drill at work as well as the corded version (talk about ripping your arm off.) I speak from years of using DeWalt experience.
It delivers both high-speed rotation, 0-2400 rpm, and successive concussive blows, 0-2700 impacts per minute, directly to the fastener or finger. The result is a nut-twisting, gut busting, wrist snapping 1330 inch-pounds (divided by 12 = over 100 ft-lbs) of turning force. One cool thing about this powerful impact driver is that if it does twist off your finger you can simply reverse it and it will cram it back onto your hand on the next revolution. Barely feel it. I kid, I kid.
Other features include:
- a frameless motor for extended durability
- heavy-duty gear case and all-metal transmission for smoother operation
- replaceable brushes for increased serviceability
- a center-balanced, T-handle design
It’s compact and lightweight, well, the battery is compact (weighs just 1 lb) and the drill weight is about industry average at 8 lbs. This 18-volt impact driver kit can handle the toughest, heaviest duty, or most mundane jobs anywhere (home, work, garage) including tightening large hex-head bolts, loosening stubborn lug nuts, and power-driving the longest, fattest lag screws imaginable.
Juiced by DeWalt’s 18V compact lithium-ion batteries, it’s ideal for woodworkers, HVAC pros, serious homeowners (might be too manly for light stuff) as well as electrical, mechanical, and general contractors.
A Cool Thing about these Batteries & DeWalt
It’s got this thing they’re calling:
DeWalt’s XRP Extended-Life Battery System
In addition to using DeWalt’s compact 18V lithium-ion batteries, the DCF826KL is also compatible with DeWalt’s 18V XRP extended run time batteries, which provide up to 40 percent more run time than standard Ni-Cad batteries. And any XRP battery can be used with any 18V DeWalt tool, which allows you to expand your system by adding other DeWalt cordless tools.
This is all new to me. Sounds awesome.
No worries because this DeWalt impact driver is backed by a 3 year limited warranty covering any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship (from the date of purchase). It’s also covered by DeWalt’s 1 year free service contract, where DeWalt will maintain the tool and replace worn parts caused by normal use for flippin’ free. Can’t beat that.
So why are you still here? Spring is coming up, then Summer. Get moving on that deck project you’ve been thinking of. What better way to get motivated and outside than to have a brand, shiny, new, classic yellow DeWalt construction tool in your hand. Put the motorcycle together and SELL it. Finally change those AHU filters because now you have an impact driver that can handle it.
Get to work!
